Synopsis
A spoof of most of the recent hit horror, sci-fi, and thriller films....where a mysterious stalker is killing off the local teens - with a comic twist.
Summary
'Scary Movie' was entertaining. It's two working titles were 'Last Summer I Screamed Because Halloween Fell On Friday the 13th' and 'Scream If You Know What I Did Last Halloween'....both of which perfectly explain the plot. The problem was that most of the funnier parts were in the previews and on TV behind-the-scenes features, but it was still all right. The acting was good, though most of the story was just stupid. But I liked it okay, it's worth seeing if you're in the mood for something that doesn't take much thought. My favorite part was in the very beginning - which started out exactly like 'Scream'. Carmen Electra was running from the killer, who pulled off her clothes as she ran. In her bra and underwear, she ran across the lawn....and when she reached the sprinklers she stopped and did an Herbal Essence type performance in slow motion. It had to be one of the most hysterical things I've ever seen.
